Then attend our BIT (Basic Instructor Training) course (6 hours long) along with the Basic Pistol (10 hours long) and get your NRA Instructor qualifications! Here is more information on our class: The NRA Instructor Training Program is designed to train experienced shooters to teach NRA Basic Firearm Training Courses as NRA Certified Instructors. Instructor training courses are conducted by NRA Appointed Training Counselors. BIT (Basic Instructor Training) - 6 hours longThe class involves at minimum 6 hours of training including Basic Instructor Training (BIT) as well as discipline such as Basic Pistol. Each student will be required to fire multiple rounds of ammunition and show proficiency in safely handling and loading a firearm. This is an NRA Certified Class! Basic Pistol - 10 hours longCourse Goal: To develop NRA Certified Instructors who possess the knowledge, skill and attitude necessary to conduct the NRA Basic Pistol Shooting Course. In this class you will be trained on pistol knowledge, safe handling, ammunition knowledge, pistol shooting fundamentals, scoring targets and maintaining and keeping a pistol. Range requirements and shooting accuracy are a part of passing this course. Each student must complete a pre-qualification questionnaire prior to taking the course. Class cost and details: $300.00 per student for 16 hour class (BIT & Basic Pistol) NOTE: Candidates must complete Basics of Pistol Instructor Led Training (ILT) course prior to attending the BIT training.
